Hi, thank you so much for being here!

My name is Evelyn Davis also known as Eve, a wife and mom.  I am originally from Louisiana but Texas has been my home since 2006.  I earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. in 2003.  However, I have always had a love for photography and event planning.  I believe milestones deserve to be experiences, felt and remembered.  It's about creating meaningful moments that bring people together. I am passionate about creating and capturing all of life's moments as they happen in real time as it unfolds.  There's no staging or scripting; just spontaneous and authentic moments.   It's story telling by way of observing, anticipating and preserving those special moments.  Observation and attention to detail is a trait that I surely inherited by spending a great deal of time with my grandparents as well as in my professional career.  My goal is to transform ideas into immersive experiences and document those moments so you can relive them exactly as they happened.   It's about honoring and capturing moments that matter.  

At Eye Capture Time, what sets us apart is our versatility! My expertise is a beautiful blend of purpose, creativity and curiosity.  My unique dual lens as a photographer and event planner is sharpened by an investigator's eye.  I don't just capture moments, I anticipate them, analyze the details, and understand how every element will be perceived. I naturally look deeper noticing the subtle details, reading the room, and capturing moments exactly as they're meant to be perceived. I see the world in frames of light and emotion, documenting the beauty that others might miss. I approach every project with intentional focus to detail, timing and perception.

 Both roles fulfil me deeply, one protecting the future and the other preserving the present.    

Being able to execute a client's vision for a special occasion and to tell a story from my lenses is simply beautiful.  We move with intention, truly listening to our clients so that we execute the visioan perfectly. The absolute best of both worlds. I take pride in my work and it's always great to see my clients smile.  I especially revel in capturing the most precious moments of my family and friends but especially my children.  There is something incredibly powerful about looking back at photos of family and friends.  Years pass. Children grow.  Loves ones ages.  Somes faces are no longer with us.  And suddenly, a simple photography becomes priceless.  When we gather and flip through albums or scroll through old galleries, it makes my heart happy and gives me great joy to just remember and relive those feelings.  Our family is always surrounded by so much love, and it is well captured and documented in all of my photos.  Hence, I am affectionally known as the "The Picture Lady" and I embrace that title with warmth and love.   

Our family and friends have also encouraged me to do the things that I love; so here I am.  

I am forever grateful to all of my friends and family for their unwavering love and support. 

 I have learned to always follow my passion and never stop creating and capturing precious moments.
